Our Mission Statement
St. Margaret Parish is a Community of Catholic Christians whose church is located in North Buffalo and forms a part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo under the leadership of the bishop of the diocese and the chief Shepherd of the Universal Church, our Holy Father the Pope. The community exercises its ministry of faith through worship, where the Word is proclaimed and the Sacraments celebrated, in education, both religious and secular, and in charity (agape), which is fostered among our members, and through outreach both spiritually and materially to those in need. Our patroness and model is St. Margaret of Scotland, whose life was devoted to the formation of the Church in 11th century Scotland, the well being and education of her people, and generosity to the orphaned, widowed and poor.
